You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I notice they didn't show him in the full outfit once.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was wondering how Clark suddenly experienced the billion-fold boost in power that would let him fly off with an entire planet, but then chalked it up to finally letting loose all the smoke people have been blowing up his ass for years about his special destiny and how noble and heroic he is.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

It would have been nice to have the save earlier in the ep, and have a little more here and now denouement.

Even "How did you do that?" "Because I had to" would be better than "and here we are back to the strange and off-putting framing device where for some reason Clark's life is in a comic book, and no one still makes the connection."

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has this picture of David Tennant been posted? [link]

The second picture down.

Fright Night is the remake of the 1985 film, made by Dreamwatch and directed by Craig Gillespie. In this film Tennant plays Peter Vincent, a former illusionist cum vampire hunter who comes to the aid of Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) to take down neighbour/vampire Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell).

The company has now released a promotional photo of Tennant in character:

I just rewatched "Day of the Moon." So, in the history of Who, has there ever been a creature who regenerated like a TIme Lord but wasn't a Time Lord?
