Oh, God. Oh, God. My hair. My hair! The government gave me bad hair!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yes.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Loved Agent X's mom. Loved Casey's reaction to her even more.

Also, I called who Agent X was going to be once they showed that the house was in England.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Good fan-made trailer for Dr. Who, around 2008: [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Love this photo of a swashbuckling Amy [link]

She's holding a sword and wearing a pirate coat and hat, along with a miniskirt and pinkish-red tights.

Same outfit and sword, no background: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller talk (a lot) about writing.

Thoughts on the new season of Dr Who:

- Since River had stomach pains in the first ep, and so did Amy, perhaps it's River+The Doctor's child, transplanted into Amy, as the Silents have more access to Amy.

- As for Rory falling out of the sky, I have this childhood scenario in my head: maybe some mean boys tossed his hat into a tree, he went up to get it and fell right in front of Amelia, maybe aged 10-12.

- There must be a Silent in my refrigerator, because I keep looking in there and forgetting what I saw.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think the existence of Silents explains a lot about my life.

I was thinking the same thing. I think lately they've been telling me to stay home and watch TV.

Wow. I've discovered what will make me break up with The Event. It's "I'm so tough, hot, and tough" Sarah Blake (or whatever she's called--the gorgeous chick with the cheekbones) not taking the shot when Ritter Jr. told her to. Because she has feelings, as opposed to what she told them in their abortive heart to heart on the plane.

For some reason that's the really stupid thing the show did.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

ita, but girls are weak and can't be trusted to do the tough things, don't you get that? Sheesh!
