I'm still confused as to why Peter was so confused when he woke up.

Peter being confused does square with the idea that he was temporarily in the persona of a Peter from a universe that was never split.

I didn't notice the wedding band in the future segment. They did a good job of aging the actor just enough -- a little can do a lot.

I thought Amy and Canton had a nice Mulder and Scully vibe in the nursing home. Possibly it was just the effect of Amy's red hair and dark pantsuit.

I'm seriously hoping that the hero of Canton is a recurring guest star --beyond being instructed to bring a can of gasoline when he's 80. I'm still seriously impressed that Mark was given such a wonderful role where he isn't a sleazy but likable villain. Love love love that the issues with his wanting to be married was both interracial and gay. Nipped that argument right in the bud!

But, seriously looking forward to seeing more of his character later in the season.

The rest was fantastic but makes my head hurt to think about. Except for where I adore how the angst between Rory and Amy was also nipped in the bud. God, his face when she called it stupid, so wonderful.

Blue is the original 'verse we got to know. Red is the "other" universe with Walternate and red haired Fauxlivia, and is the one where Peter was born.

Yes, I was thinking that too, but is it Rory's child? TCG wants to know if the Tardis could have impregnated her. It is supposed to be alive, right?

I have a couple competing, or possibly complementary, thoughts as to how Amy Pond's offspring could have the ability to regenerate, Time-Lord style. One is that the TARDIS, perhaps while merged with Rose as Bad Wolf, directly played slice-and-dice with the DNA of the little fry as she was growing in the womb. Another is that somehow Amy's and/or Rory's exposure to the Time Vortex or other Timey-Wimey things during relevant stages of development did precisely what Amy feared, producing a child with a "time head", i.e. some as yet unspecified effects that lead to certain traits that we are accustomed to only Time Lords possessing. As it has been established from of old that simply being born on Gallifrey, of native Gallifreyan stock, does not make one a Time Lord, but rather intensive training, including exposure to some Timey-Wimey things from an early age is necessary to do the job, it seems possible that some Time Lord traits could be passed on to a child of any stock, given appropriate exposure and training (and heaven Moffat only knows what all happened to that kid while in the suit).

However, the idea that Amy is the offspring of River and the Doctor, hence Amy's child having the third, or parts thereof, strand of DNA and subsequent regenerative abilities, is a bit more elegant than what I have proposed.

They are color coded based on the opening credits. Normally, the credits are blue. Whenever an episode takes place Over There, the credits are red.

Seriously, the empty orphanage was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen. I loved the glowy red hands alerting people to the fact that they need to freak the fuck out now.

Also, Amy is growing on me this season, and I still adore Rory, especially the "stupid face" moment. Awwwwwwwwwww.
