Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

OMFG was that Charlie?!

That was an out-of-sequence season 1 episode, IIRC. At least, that's what folks told me.

Fringepedia could help, as well.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh! Is that the issue? Then yeah, that was Charlie, and it was a season one episode. I thought you were confused about shapeshifter Charlie.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Oh no, shapeshifter Charlie was already killed. Then out of the blue Charlie was talking to Olivia and she wasn't freaking out, "I shot you in the head!".

Out of sequence makes the most sense and also FU Fox.

Ima check out the Fringepedia, Thanks!

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I think I'm spoiled for most things just from not watching it until now and people talking about aired episodes. It's still blowing my mind.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Coma girl speaking Russian? Yeah, that one episode was super confusing when it aired. There was no explanation for why an unaired Season 1 episode suddenly was aired halfway through Season 2.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tiki Dalek

Livejournal user kproche built a tiki-themed Dalek. It won Best in Show at the recent Gallifrey One Masquerade ball.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There was no explanation for why an unaired Season 1 episode suddenly was aired halfway through Season 2.

I thought I saw something in the booklet that came with the DVDs that clarified it was a season 1 episode. Of course, that doesn't help if you are Netflixing I guess.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Or if you're watching live. I saw something mentioned somewhere, but it was hardly properly explained.

I like how they introduced another black person on TVD last night and she wasn't witchy at all. Wait...never mind.

So did they actually have Stefan go something to the effect of "Yeah, good thing you are raping that chick otherwise you might be making googly eyes at my high school girlfriend"? I don't need my protagonists to be morally blameless, but the text seems to give him a rather strange pass here. Having her fall for him doesn't help.
