quester, I hate having to disagree with you but DG was not good scifi.
oh, and the creator won't answer questions regarding where the show was going to go if it had continued.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Petulance, or Lost-esque absence of an actual long term plan?
Because at this episode, the role of Amy's skirt was as big as Amy's, if not bigger.
Heh. You're not wrong.
I think the bit that struck me as sexist was the discussion about Amy wearing a skirt to get her driver's license, because that directly impugned her abilities in a way that a lot of women are stereotyped as bad drivers, and asserted that she had used her sexuality inappropriately to get past the test.
The bit with Rory looking up her skirt didn't bother me because of the context of them being newlyweds etc etc, and it made Rory look just as foolish, really.
Anyway.
I think in the World Without Shrimp, where Firefly gets at least ten full seasons, Earth 2 got more seasons than Seaquest DSV.
And Odyssey 5 actually ran five seasons, so we could find out why the Earth blew up, and how it got saved. Sigh.
Matt,
Petulance, or Lost-esque absence of an actual long term plan?
Where is your tagline from? It is making me laugh.
I got the impression from the EW article I read that it was petulance. Although, given some of their plot assgrabs, it might be a mix of both.
Matt's tagline
"Did... you... service Oberon, King of the Faeries?"
is from Supernatural.
how did I miss that line? I watch every week.
I was clicking through to my profile settings by the time the last syllable of the line was spoken in its initial airing.
Chuck: Loved Ellie's take on her father's research, love Kevin Bacon, got sick of the BM jokes pretty quickly. Glad Awesome isn't lying to Ellie but think that Chuck really needs to come clean with her too.
Being Human US: Glad to see they're departing majorly from the UK storyline. Hoping Bishop doesn't get killed. Loved Aidan's 50's haircut, too, as he has totally the right face for it.
Glad Awesome isn't lying to Ellie but think that Chuck really needs to come clean with her too.
Yes! there was a nanosecond when Chuck wasn't lying to Ellie and that was so great, and now Ellie is lying to Chuck. Bah.
Being Human US: I don't like Bishop's backstory so much, but Aidan in the flashbacks was the most vivid we've seen him. The business with the Dutch is pretty weird, which is good, I think.
