Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Wow, that's... something. Also, rather spoilery for the episode: I had had no idea that little Peter was trying to kill himself. Unless he was somehow thinking that the lake would send him back to his real world.

No wonder Peter had such a bad relationship with Walter. But I'm surprised he doesn't seem to remember much of this.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tell me that's not another dead black witch on VD.

Also, why are we having a musical interlude? Is this Buffy?

I am completely agog. Does no one on the show see that pattern, or care?

If I count correctly, black folk = Bonnie, Whitney Gilbert, two redshirts that didn't make it out of the episode and might not have been named, Gina Torres, Witchboy and Warlock Dad. Everyone but Bonnie is dead.

You're either witchy or doomed or both.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Derek definitely lives in the Guildenstern.

I just got Joel Wyman to confirm that on Twitter. His response to my question:

Ha. Yes!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that makes me very happy.

It certainly gave me some fangeek joy.

Wyman and Pinkner are liveTweeting during the east coast airing tonight and Jasika Nicole during the west coast airing. Use #FringeLiveTweet hashtag to take part.
