I think Walter said that Peter's interaction with The Machine had "weaponized" him, and that's why he went on the shapeshifter killing spree.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The Machine had "weaponized" him
I wonder if he even knows which side he is working for.
Yes, that is Walter's theory - does it necessarily follow that is what is true? And as I said before: does Walter know all that Peter had done while he was in the hospital?
Exactly, sumi. Walter has been wrong before...
But it's the only theory in cannon right now.
I am hoping that Walter's theory is true, but it may just be him trying to explain away what he doesn't like with a theory. I'd like to know more about Peter's past than what they have hinted at on the show.
Is tonight the SciFi movie where Tiffany and Debbie Gibson catfight? (Oh yeah, there might be giant monsters too.)
And recite song titles at each other!
OK, I love the idea of this cheesefest in theory, but two minutes of Tiffany's "acting" is about all I can stand. And Debbie Gibson does not seem to be reprising her Megashark scientist character.
Mega Python and Gatoroid need to fire their agents.
Vampire Diaries: the dream sequence was clichéd, but I liked their representation of psychosis. Much more realistic than when Joss tries to write it.
