Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

So clearly, they could have just put Baltar on the dashboard of the Raptor and left out that whole Helo on Caprica subplot from Season 1.

Ann, that's a ferret.

but her job may prevent her from doing that. Better way to deal with it would be for her to call to confirm plans.

Fair enough. But it only takes 5 seconds to leave a message on his voice mail -- "Honey, work demands. Don't wait up for me. Love you. Bye!"

Art Crawl!!!

Exactly. Or call and leave it with his assistant - in case he never checks his voicemail or answers the cell phone.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Even if he answers the cell phone, Gwen can say, "Honey, can't explain. But work demands. See you when I see you." And Rhys's answer is, "Okay. Good luck. Love you. Bye!"

Of course, Gwen should have sat Rhys down when he became involved in a relationship withi someone working in law enforcement and explained a few facts of life.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Hahaha. This is Torchwood. Much as I've learned to like the gang this season, they aren't so good with practicality. Or logic.

Or interpersonal communications.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hey, with all the lost time with Adam and Rift adventures and whatnot, I'm not surprised if their logic (and brains) have a few holes in them by now.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I still don't get why Adam's insertion into Gwen's memories would require her to forget someone she's spent a substantial portion of every day with since long before she became involved with Torchwood. I suspect he erased Rhys from her mind just to be sadistic.

An awesome remixed DS9 credit set the BSG opening credit theme: [link]

Seeing Alexander Siddig's name there made me laugh because I had so much trouble telling Siddig and James Callis apart at the beginning. Not only did they look similar, but they were both Dr. B!

He probably didn't realize that she had a home life.
