A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Watching the Green Hornet marathon, it suddenly becomes clear to me why I remember essentially nothing from the reruns I saw as a kid. This was one dull-ass show, and I was too young at the time to appreciate how smoking hot Van Williams was.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not great but kind of mindless fun.

I was so paranoid he was going to have a black buddy/sidekick just like No Ordinary Family. Oops!

Hmmph! I liked The Green Hornet. You're probably a supporter of the desecration. Hmmph.

Van and Bruce were a fucking hot pair. Dear god.

The "Gangsta's Paradise" singalong commercial moved me from being mildly disgruntled about the movie to wanting to slip into projection booths and burn the prints as a service to mankind.

I tuned in after work all psyched about seeing the marathon, and was horrified by the drastic failure to meet expectations. In an hour and a half I've seen Bruce Lee answer a phone and kick a door open.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Anyone watched The Cape? I couldn't work out the tone, precisely.

That's exactly where I am with it. I'm giving it another episode in case it suddenly gels into something I can just enjoy. I don't really want a serious superhero show taking itself seriously.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'll keep watching it for a bit more, but I suspect Summer Glau might have more time on her hands soon.

That's kind of where I am, too.

All is well that ends in pizza.

This is from Not Always Right, and made me smile:

Yeah. It's got too much "Wait, that's just stupid" to be taken seriously, and yet it spent too much time being all Batman Begins about it to be camp.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My sister, of all people, called me to tell me The Cape was on and to watch it. I probably wouldn't have otherwise. She seemed to like it. I thought it was predictable and hokey, and yeah, couldn't quite tell if it was meant to be campy and poke fun at itself, or take itself seriously. I kept saying, Is that really Richard Schiff? Dang.

It's in the category "I didn't really like it, but I watched it all anyway, and I'll watch another just to see if it gets better. Also, Summer Glau."

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It seems to be trying to be Batman Begins. I'm going to give it a chance. I like the magician. Also, Summer Glau.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I couldn't get past minute 10. I will suffer through a lot to watch Glau (I watched every episode of "Dollhouse" after all), but this show tested me.
