This is a game I would much enjoy and never, ever get to play, due to lack of people to play it with: [link] (scroll down a bit)
'Objects In Space'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I just noticed that my Tivo wasn't planning to record the last 5 episodes of Caprica even though I still have it on Season Pass. (Airing January 4th) So if you're interested in the last episodes, you might want to check your Tivo! (Or you can always rent them since the DVD is already out.)
Oh, thanks! My DVR seems to think those episodes have already aired and I don't need them, and I was counting on it to know to record.
Fun to have Primeval back. I think that there are 4 people from the last season in this one. They really do have a high turnover rate.
Syfy started showing season 1 and I watched the very first episode: only 3 characters have made it from then to now.
I've been watching all of Primeval in anticipation, I was so excited.
I'm a little worried that they are going the 'grittier' route that every series seems to be suffering from these days. So, mixed feelings about the opener.
They mentioned Sarah so many times that I expect we'll see her in flashback. Not sure what they can do with Danny given the new very-Cutter-y new guy. Not much room at the top of that pyramid.
The preview made it look like we might see Rex next time, so that will make me happy.
Yes, I hope we see Rex again.
Oh, I liked most of the Primeval premiere. I don't mind the grittier atmosphere if it means the characters are less DEEPLY STUPID, as they were in series 3.
I would love to see more of Connor and Abby having PTSD, though. The scene with Abby on watch was perfect: I want more of that, and them having trouble re-adjusting to London.
Now they just need to give Becker a first name: he's still listed as "Captain Becker" in the credits.
Becker seems less cool this season. More the comic effect than I recall from previous seasons.
So, I'm guessing that Gideon and the new chief somehow know what Helen knew and are looking for the trigger that creates the future predators. Despite not loving that story line, I hope it gets resolved.
Not sure how I feel about actual people popping in and out of the anomalies. The chica last season was significantly geewhiz to be okay, but lots of them? That would be messing with the show's organizing principle...which bugs me.
But don't mind me, I'm just gun shy around shows I really like getting 'lost'...if you know what I mean, and I think that you do.
Trailer for BBC Being Human season 3.
wibble.
Can't wait.
