Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just caught up with the Doctor Who special, and that was lovely. I just hope in addition to getting a last shark ride, Abigail also got one last visit with her family.

Loved the return of the fez. And I loved hearing a reference to one in the preview for the new season. And then he gets a Stetson (promptly shot off, it appears). Is this the first Doctor with a jones for haberdashery?

brillig

The 4th Doctor often wore a floppy, broad-brimmed hat. Very Bohemian.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was also highly amused by the reappearance of certain costumes.

Yes! Pretty cute.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Apparently her name is Katherine Jenkins, and she's a classical singer: [link]

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Katherine Jenkins is very popular here.

All is well that ends in pizza.

In the Confidential, they said it was her first acting gig.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That was a very adorable, very cheesy, very Christmas-y Christmas special. With time travel mayhem!

I would have liked Abigal to do more than be lovely, sick, and die.

Yeah, me too.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Yeah ... I think they were dodging having the opera singer act too much.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So Primeval comes back on BBCA on Saturday, and BBCA has considerately provided a bunch of streaming video clips that introduce the new team and establishes the backstory for the second reset of the show.

(I'm not convinced that Connor looks that good with a beard and long hair, but whatever.)

Art Crawl!!!

I really enjoyed the Christmas Special and it was particularly fun to be able to watch it on Christmas.
