Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

'Never Leave Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I wouldn't drink a fifth of Scotch just to watch that. But if I were to drink a fifth of Scotch ANYWAY it might come into my head as a good idea.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I suppose it would be way off topic to wax rhapsodic about the sale at a local liquor store for Bailey's - I got a bottle of the Mint Chocolate. I would totally not waste a drop of this precious fluid on that dance sequence.

I think the fiction in that bit of science fiction is based on the notion that since Joss Whedon can squeeze a successful musical into a vampire show, then dance routines can be used throughout the sf/f genre.

Which is patently untrue, unless one is actually, in fact, Joss Whedon (or perhaps one of his siblings).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Xena did it before.

I can imagine Xena carrying it off with more style and grace than apparently Sanctuary was able to manage. But the various mental images seem to go better without Sorbo getting a cameo.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Re Sanctuary, at least if you can believe last night's episode, it will be going forward as The Tesla Show, because it looks like he and the Big Guy might be the only survivors....

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I know right? Although I am not fine with that. I like Magnus. Can she really be killed? I thought she was immortal.

Can someone tell me why the SyFy Being Human remake sucks?

Notice, I didn't ask why you think it's going to suck. I asked you why it sucks. Because apparently it does suck.

Sometimes I really hate people. Statistics do not predict the future. Call it your prejudice. Own it. Don't dress it up and try to parade it out like a fact.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Has it aired yet? Or is that your point?

I must admit, the ads do not leave a favorable impression of the show. At all.

Art Crawl!!!

Ummm, I don't know that it sucks. I'm concerned that Sam Witwer may not have the range of Aiden Turner - but we'll see.
