A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Very cool promo.

John Scott was undercover trying to catch the arms dealer who was melting flesh and turning people into porcupine beasts. There is no evidence that he knew about the other universe. His arc was wrapped up nicely in episode 13 of the first season.

Aha, somehow in my binge through season 1 I missed that episode!

Who, Me?

I was disappointed that Scott wasn't still the boyfriend in the alt-universe.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sneak peeks of the Doctor Who Christmas special.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was disappointed that Scott wasn't still the boyfriend in the alt-universe.

I'm sure if Mark Valley weren't busy on Human Target, he would have been.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I suppose having him on would have generated the right amount of AWKWARD! between the two characters now that the actors have split up.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

no kidding, right?

I wonder how Dexter and his sister will behave now.

Well! It's time for your daily sci-fi update from me, who is clearly watching way too much television as of late. Oh well! I don't think I'll even have access to a TV in a couple of months, so I may as well make use of my time.

I'll be getting another Farscape disc in the mail today, but last night I watched a whole bunch of Torchwood, which I'm quite liking!

I particularly liked the episodes "Countrycide" (super creepy!) and "They Keep Killing Suzie". It's so different from Doctor Who that it's almost difficult to remember that they are related, but then once in a while someone does say something to remind me that it's the same universe.

It's obviously nowhere near as fun as Doctor Who but I am still really enjoying it. Different show completely! I wish I were better at articulating my thoughts on things. But I'm liking it so far!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Those two are particular faves of mine. Those, and "Random Shoes."

Not sure where this belongs. Probably here, I think: Footage from a 1967 British tv production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It's kind of awesome in its cheesetasticness.
