A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I just noticed that there are new holiday episodes of Eureka and Warehouse 13 airing this coming Tuesday! I wanted to mention it in case anyone needs to set their DVR.

Thank you!!! I didn't know a new Eureka was coming.

Additionally, I've been rather absent from the internet this week because I am now totally obsessed with both Doctor Who and Farscape. I blame you all!

TOASTERS FOR ALL!

Heh, I remember when I went through Farscape on DVD because of this thread... and posting here as I went through. Good times.

I've only watched the first disc of season one so far (and I will switch back to Doctor Who on Instant Watch as I wait for disc two to arrive)... my inner sci-fi geek is so happy right now. I can't think of anything I really dislike about either show, so far.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I wish the teenagers on No Ordinary Family weren't such a cliche because otherwise I like the show.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Okay, so you know how something gets popular and suddenly you can't get away from it? And then it jumps the shark? Buffy made vampires popular, and now zombies are the "it" thing. But, the example of zombies jumping the shark? I'm watching the miniseries "Transformers: Prime" (shut up), and the big bad of the series has obtained a source of energy called Dark Energon that can bring dead transformers back to life. But, they come back all crazy and bent on mindless destruction. Ergo, Transformer Zombies. Seriously.

Transformer Zombies sound like something that would be on one of those Syfy Original Movies my mother is watching constantly. I cannot even tempt her with legit sci-fi, but shark-octupus hybrids? Sign her up.

Actually, that sounds like Blackest Night. If they start insisting that willpower is an emotion, back away slowly.

Art Crawl!!!

Primeval is going to air it's new season on BBCA starting January 1st (i.e., the same day it's starting in the UK.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

BBCA, get out of town! I ♥ you.
