You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Family connections?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She's related to Rupert Murdoch.

Ooh.

So I asked this on Facebook but thought it would make a good discussion topic here. Who would win in a fight: Sarah Walker or Olivia Dunham?

Olivia Dunham. Because she's a decently written character and Sarah Walker is a cardboard cutout male wank fantasy.

That is how it works, right?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Thing is, Olivia has much better technology on her side. It's like cowboys vs. aliens.

Sarah has enough random impossible tech on her side, readily available (whereas Olivia has to wait until Peter or Walter invent it halfway through the ep), that I think that's a wash.

Olivia just rocks and Sarah is silly. So there. That's all.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I've never seen Fringe but Olivia Dunham must be pretty awesome if she could give Sarah Walker a fight. I actually find Sarah to a very interestingly and complexly written character who just happens to also be supremely badass, but... that's just me.

My brothers and I have discussed Buffy vs. River to death and back again. It's always a fun argument.

Who's Sarah Walker?

For me, I think Sarah's thinly written (she's a sex bomb with knives under her scanty skirt and a routinely tormented past). And she's always too close to perfect for me.

I think, statistically, Olivia wins less than Sarah. But it's why I like her more. Not to mention I'll take Torv over the Sarah actress anyday. She moves like a person who earned their gun.

serial: Sarah Walker's the love interest on Chuck. And, yeah, that's pretty much how I see her.
