Ooh, that's one I can rewatch!
I just rewatched the first x-mas special. That was just such a cool introduction to the awesomeness that is Tennant.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh, I just googled Tennant to make sure I had the correct spelling, and one of those ads on the righthand side of the google results showed up:

So, you know, if you're looking for some company you might want to check this out....
Sits in the DS9 corner in great company.
Seriously. I can only watch choice Next Gen episodes - the ones that aren't make me cringe now. But I love most of DS9, once you get past the first season awkward period (and I'd argue still less painful than TNG first season awkward period, plus a WAY better pilot).
I always have to excuse the first season of TNG because they did the best they could given there was a writer's strike.
Much as I've grown fond of Wil Wheaton, nothing will excuse early Wesley Crusher.
Oh, yay, Andre Royo in the Fringe preview! I was hoping we'd see him again.

It did end up paying off years later thanks to jokes on The Big Bang Theory.

That explains some of the haircuts on that show.
And I remain in the "Galactica was more hilarious than bleak, and I had no problem with the finale" corner. Alone.
Definitely not alone, at least in terms of the finale. I had no big problems with how they ended the show.
DS9 was the best ST, but certain TNG eps are standouts. In addition to the big changers such as Best of Both Worlds and Yesterday's Enterprise, I really liked standalones such as Cause and Effect.
"The inner light" where Picard lived a life (and learned the flute) was good.
