That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I've been very circumspect not suggesting Supernatural, but it's obviously the answer.

I think I'm probably going to end up watching all of them, but sounds like Doctor Who is first up =)

And ah, I had heard of the Bedchel test, just not the name for it. Thanks!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Occasionally Doctor Who does stuff that causes my suspension of disbelief to be unsuspended. Like, say, aliens with heads that look just like rhinos?

But I've gotten better at letting stuff like that bug me.

If it only happens occasionally, you don't watch enough. Then watch more, and it stops. It's the path...

I've seen the first season of Supernatural but then I got bored. I hear things picked up, so I'm not sure why I never jumped back in.

I have not seen Farscape, but it is ALSO on my list of Shows To Watch. It is getting very long. Sell Farscape to me, Frankenbuddha! All these things are on Netflix Instant Watch and so I have a wealth of possibilities.

Yeah, that's what happened. During "The Pandorica Opens," I was sorta' like, "Ooh - the rhino aliens are here too!"

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I marathoned BSG once. Never again.

Oh you poor dear.

Wow.

I've seen the first season of Supernatural but then I got bored.

it didn't become must watch tv for me until season two. so i get that.

I have not seen Farscape, but it is ALSO on my list of Shows To Watch.

woo, boy! i watched all four season of Farscape in a 30 day period. pretty sure i overdosed on the cracktastic awesomeness of it. i really need to do a re-watch now that i own the boxset. if you like two lead characters who have phenomenal chemistry, puppets, fish out of water tales, it's definitely for you. John Crichton remains one of my very favorite fictional characters ever.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

It took me a bit to get onboard the Farscape train, but I just love it.

The movie has some hand-wavium going on, but I'm satisfied with it as a conclusion to the series. I feel like all the work I put in as a viewer was rewarded with Farscape. Unlike attlestar-Bay Alatica-Gay.
