What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

“Not dead yet!”

At a minimum, I figure it'll return Chuck's Intercept powers. Unless, that iPhone app's effects were only temporary.

I'm thinking the tweaked PSP thing that Mama Bartowski pulled either further enhanced the intersect and Chuck's system is overwhelmed or enhanced but whatever she did won't be activated until he comes in contact with the Flux Capacitor.

As Lewis pointed out, it all comes back to what she said to him just as she held it up-- "Your father never wanted you to see this..."

Because Papa Bartowski never wanted Chuck to see the Intercept in the first place and worked so hard to get it out of Chuck.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I got suspicious when Chuck blacked out after parachuting out of the plane and woke up in the cart, but a few subsequent things put those fears aside, so I got surprised. Dalton did a great job there, both as the bumbling handler and as Volkov.

“Not dead yet!”

He totally went from looking like an absent-minded professor to James frickin' Bond. Guh.

Exactly! Except I was spoiled for Alpha :(

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

IO9 rates Vampire Diaries as one of the best TV adaptations of a novel.

And they call it The Crackpipe Diaries, so I think I'm on the same page as they are.

I didn't know that 6 Million Dollar Man was an adaptation. Or that the first Lathe of Heaven didn't suck.

This version? It's a classic! My teenaged self was freaked out!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I didn't know that 6 Million Dollar Man was an adaptation.

From a Martin Caidin novel, asn't it? I remember him saying that in all the years he was a consultant, they only asked him one question (how to bring Jamie Summers back).

hwæt

For the next Galactica spinoff, they should feature something like diamond rings in their promotions.
