Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm loving the Morgan and Casey show. Mainly because an annoyed Adam Baldwin is right up there with an annoyed-with-Spike Angel.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, that was good stuff right there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Trailer for Felicia Day's Red. The post also contains a TV Guide style capsule, so if you don't want to know, don't look down (it's below the trailer, which I couldn't work out how to link to on its own).

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

okay, so the story underneath the trailer is what I read first and after reading the story, I said to myself: man, that looks kind of interesting for a SciFi movie.

THEN

I saw the trailer. Man, did that suck all the enthusiasm out of me. I'm watching the movie, but I'm going in with the lowest expectations possible.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I'm watching the movie, but I'm going in with the lowest expectations possible.

You go into SyFy movies with SyFy expectations. (Yes, I've developed a whole different set of expectation for SyFy movies.) You know it's not going to be good. It will most likely be horrible. But it will be so horrible and cheesy that it will be fun!

Runs off to program it into her Tivo

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Felicia Day seems a little more convincing at being badass in those clips than she did on Dollhouse. Looks like werewolf-killin' fun!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Caprica was fun. Things are getting more and more fraked up. Plus next week promises hot wacky robot-on-mob action.
