Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I think they only put it up at noon EST. As in, it was aired online. You have to watch it then as if it were airing on your television and you didn't have TiVo.

Way to suborn bad work habits, Sci-Fi! Also, kind of... isn't that the whole point of internet communication? That it's not time-constrained the same way TV is?

(I do think that a spoiler discussion will need to happen at some point, although putting things online during the work day is about as dirty pool as we can hope to avoid. Only people who have their own offices will be able to watch "realtime"! The peons of cubeland will revolt.)

Art Crawl!!!

We had a slow morning here so I could watch it but I can't imagine 10 weeks of slow mornings. . .

Also, I think people who can't see it deserve their 9/10 hours of speculation. (According to the Galactica Watercooler thread - lots of people had trouble with the feed. . . my main problem with it was that the sound was sucky.)

BTW, I'm shocked that no one is white-fonting about the new Doctor Who. Isn't it up at the usual places yet?

I mean, it airs tomorrow, right?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Way to suborn bad work habits, Sci-Fi!

Right? I suppose they're catering to people on the East Coast with lunch hours, but the rest of us are screwed. I suppose West Coasters could catch it at 9 and come in late.

(According to the Galactica Watercooler thread - lots of people had trouble with the feed. . . my main problem with it was that the sound was sucky.)

Ah, lame.

Isn't it up at the usual places yet?

I mean, it airs tomorrow, right?

Right, so it's...not up. No one's seen it. Why would it be up already?

Art Crawl!!!

I thought that the feeds went up before hand.

Huh, I've never tried to get DW early. I only see it go up on Saturday.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've been grabbing my stuff day of airing in the UK. I'm pretty sure that TW hasn't been available if I mistakenly went looking a few hours too early.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Torchwood goes up after it airs in the UK. I've never seen it early.

Art Crawl!!!

So, there would be no criss-crossing of white fonts should there be more than one person who wanted to talk BSG prior to primetime?

Not until Torchwood hits tonight.
