A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The kid who played Dash was particularly awful, though the Violet actress at least has potential.
I like the principal characters and their sidekicks, but I feel the animated film did a much better job of introducing the villains than this live action prequel.
And I can't wait to see if they get Linda Hunt as Edna Mode.
That would rock.
I thought it was fun but not earthshattering.
I'm content to keep referring to the kids as Violet and Dash.
(Who played The Thing in the Fantastic Four movies -- it wasn't Chiklis, was it?)
Yes. Yes, it was.
The Incredibles comparison made it hard for me to enjoy NOF. It will need to diverge more before I can commit. I love the original too much to be loyal to an also ran. Even IF they get Linda Hunt to be Enda Mode.
Walter owning Massive Dynamic. Interesting....
There's a teeny tiny bit of the Doctor Who Christmas Special to be seen the the BBC drama Autumn/Winter showreel:

Also, you can play "Spot the Doctor"!
Ah -- the FF movies were so really awful that I may have suffered a bit of hysterical amnesia. Chiklis/Ben Grimm was by far the best thing in them. I just wanted to kill the other actors, and torture the director to death.
Human Target will be moving to Wednesdays starting November 17th (their new premiere date) - because Lie to Me is moving to Mondays - > because Lone Star was cancelled.
This is good for me: I can now catch Medium, Human Target AND Smallville.
I thought Chris Evans was perfect for his role in the FF movies too. But Ioan Griffud's performance as Reed and Julian Mcmahon's as Doom were way, way below their potential. (Unfortunately I think Jessica Alba's performance gave a pretty good indication of how much potential she has.)
I'm content to keep referring to the kids as Violet and Dash.
My hope is that we can get Cindy calling them that in her recaps.
Soon we will be able to watch BSG and Eureka instantly on Netflix.
