"The part of Myka will now be played by Claudia Black"
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Looks like there's still plenty of wiggle room for HG/Myka. Well, in a world with Sam/Gabriel, anyway.
In fic nothing is ruled out. But I agree, that Helena surrendered voluntarily keeps it from being so strongly out of character for Myka. Nowhere near the emotional obstacle to Sam/Gariel. Not even the same scale.
And I'm not that much of a Myka hater. She makes a great straight-woman for Pete. And her character whines a lot less, than Dr/ wotshisname on Stargate Atlantis, and tends to save Pete's ass a lot.
They couldn't quit in the beginning.
I remember at the beginning, Myka was allowed to choose to leave, but Pete was going to have to stay. I don't remember specifically if Myka's option was a one-time-only deal, though.
You know what would be a perfect show? A crossover of the Hiro & Ando show with the Artie & Claudia show. Brilliant. And their main missions would be to bronze people who whine too much.

You know, this would make W13 immensely more entertaining for me.
Hell, substituting Claudia could make Two and a Half Men immensely more entertaining.
My reaction to the inclusion of Forever Knight on that list of cliffhanger endings: Bitch, please! All but one of the characters was killed off by the end, including the protagonist! The only show that's ever had a more concrete resolution than that one was Six Feet Under!
Fringe tonight! Have we determined how to refer to the Olivias yet? I propose Other Olivia or OOlivia for the wrong Olivia.
Fauxlivia.
That's funny, but I'm hesitant to use that. She's not a replica of some sort. She's real, but wrong.
Altlivia, as a riff on Walternate
