A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There's a whole lot of everything changing going on. I'm certainly not going to making any bets as to what happens next.

Eta: it's funny, when he told Daisy they'd kill everyone in the world, that seemed like typical vampire grandiose talk, but when he told George to stay out of cities, I believed him.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

In the Being Human universe, what would happen if Mitchell decided to turn George?

Art Crawl!!!

I don't know, but my guess is that doesn't work in this 'verse - unless George stops being a werewolf. (Because what Mitchell said suggests that George will be in danger after he is no longer supernatural.)

I thought he'd be in danger either way - "whatever you are when you come out of there", wasn't it?

If the ex-priest is right and it's a type of possession - did he say vampires were demons, also? I don't think I have enough information to spin a theory.

Art Crawl!!!

I don't think that Kemp knows what he is talking about. He was a complete failure at exorcising Annie.

Annie's not an evil spirit.

True.

We don't know a lot about the mystical mechanics of the 'verse, it's hard to speculate.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Yeah, when Mitchell falls off the wagon he doesn't fuck around.

I had a flashback to the scene in "Crush" where Drusilla's train arrives in Sunnydale. All we see is the conductor stepping up to the open door and getting yanked in, and then later the tape outlines of where the bodies were. With Mitchell and Daisy we got to see the Before instead of the After.

As for George....I'm trying, because I know I'm supposed to empathize with his efforts to retain his humanity and live a normal life, but he just irritates me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

He and Mitchell are both written consistently at least. (And I do like the fact that they take the "addict" metaphor to its logical conclusion. When Mitchell turns back into a serial killer it really is like a drunk falling off the wagon. When the binge ends he will have about the same guilt as an AA guy coming down after polishing off a case of scotch over an extended drunk.)

Also Mitchell asking women to be his salvation: way to pressure someone else into taking responsibility for your bad habits asshole.

And the funny thing is I find judging the characters harshly doesn't stop me from enjoying it. "Oh, George, No". "Pass the popcorn." munch, munch. "Mitchell, you are still an asshole". munch. Munch.

Annie is the one really throws me out of the show sometimes. I do like her - she is the only one who never hurts anyone except in the face of really intense provocation. But the write her a little too broadly, descending to farce where it is not appropriate and far more over the top than her character is most of time.
