I found myself surprised that i was enjoying this badass and slightly pyschotic version of Stefan.
I wasn't surprised that I enjoy this version of Stefan, because I prefer my vampires badass and slightly psychotic. As they are supposed to be, dammit.
I'll admit, I was a little sad that Jeremy didn't become a vampire. But hey, vampire Caroline works for me.
I haven't decided if I think Stefan is all talk or not. I know he's really protective of Elena, but I'm not sure he'd kill her father.
Yet.
But this show is weird.
I did
not
see vampire Caroline coming.

perhaps i should rephrase. i was suprised to find myself enjoying Stefan period. it was unnatural for me. he's a bit more tolerable for me in the books.
have y'all read the books? Vamp Caroline is a huuuuuuuuuuuuge improvement. she truly creeped me the hell out in the books.
Yes, I've read the books. While wincing. Hell, the version of every character on the show is huuuuuuuuge improvement over the book versions.
ha! you're probably right about that. though i do still think Stefan is more tolerable in the books. i really like Meredith and i'm kind of bummed they kinda smushed her and Bonnie's character to make show!Bonnie.

Haven't watched the video, so I don't know if I'm right....
Show a broad range of emotions and display vulnerability without it detracting from the badassedness would be on my list as well.
JCVD showed a wide range of emotions. I mean, he wore pink.
Getting roughed up by Iceburgh is not the sort of vulnerability I had in mind.
