Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Depends what the community is. Many fandoms have newsletters, which post a round-up of stories, art, meta, etc. that have been posted during a specified time period.

That's actually exactly what it was. I guess I was just surprised that they linked without asking. The response I got when I asked about it was basically "it's on the internet, so it's not yours anymore. Be happy for the free publicity." Yes, she actually said 'free publicity'.

The mod explained it better and said that she could see why I wouldn't want that, but just put a disclaimer about linking. Which is fine.

It's wierd, because I wouldn't have minded at all if they had asked (and would have been flattered), or if someone had linked it here or in their private LJ. I'm not quite sure why I'm bothered by it.

I used to run an LJ fandom newsletter, and I never asked before linking - there were too many fics to manage asking and waiting for an answer and etc. If somebody put a disclaimer to not link I would absolutely follow that, but public fic/art/meta is generally considered fair game for newsletters.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Skimmer.

Hey, there's not a Eureka kink meme, is there? I couldn't find one.

Worse then being a Skimmer. I read those comments and links(though did not follow links) and totally spaced on them.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Eureka:

I like how Fargo, in addition to being the DJ, also added some autotune to Henry's voice.

So they just said on Haven that whatsisname "can't feel." Seriously? At all? Please to explain, ah, everything about how he functions, then.

I know, I know.

I cannot express my Henry love. His talking to Jack, the "I thought I was" bit, and then BLINDED WITH SCIENCE?!?!?!

Could it be any more awesome.

Henry Deacon, if Grace doesn't want you, can I have you?

Allison and Carter kissing made me think Stark was going to turn up. And then the previews!
