Oh, Stephen Moffat. Your fairy tale "Doctor Who" officially won my heart tonight. Entirely made of win.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

That was lovely.
Awww, we finally got a happy ending for the season ender!!! Loved it.
Loved the mythical Rory!Centurion, never leaving his post over 2000 years. Loved little Amelia, never losing her faith in the stars. Really loved suddenly old-looking Doctor, telling the sleeping Amelia about the daft old man stealing, no, borrowing the blue box. Matt Smith's youthful looks grew on me throughout the season, but that one scene made me see William Hartnell's Doctor lying beneath.
Shame he doesn't have a plastic hand. THat would be cool. I wonder where he went to restock.
OMG, Rory is love! Seriously. The boy who waited indeed.
Has there been a full-on male companion before? I mean, not just a tag-a-long, but a proper companion? Mickey certainly wasn't, and I don't think Jack counts as one either, but I'm fuzzy on my earlier Who.
Because Rory now feels like a definite companion. While I can't imagine it happening, if Amy had for some reason bailed, I think this Doctor would have taken Rory if he'd wanted to go anyway (except maybe for the leaving Amy part, but I'm just speculating on some "ifs").

Adric (who made an oopsie, but a heroic one, nonetheless with Doctors #4 & #5) and Turlough (always an outsider) with Five.
Does The Brigadier count?
Harry, who hung out with Sarah and the Doctor #4.
And don't forget Jamie, from the Second Doctor's tenure.
Ian was a companion from the first episode into season 2. When he was replaced by Steven.
Dr. Who: Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
That was sublime.
From way back in the first discussion:
I absolutely adored River and Amy teaming up to destroy the fez. There's something about their dynamic together that I really like. I also have a suspicion that there is some connection between the two that will be revealed next season, but that's more a gut feeling than anything else.
Anyone else think for a second Amy Pond would wake up and find River and the Doctor as her parents?
MY TINY LITTLE DAD! That whole sequence was so wonderful.
