A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Compassionately intolerant

I recently went straight through 9-present and found that 9 had grown on my significantly since first watch. Enough that I'm sad CE didn't stick around longer. I love 10 the best, I think, but have warmed to 11 more than I expected to in 10's wake.

The part that is bothering me lately is Amy. I thought she was the beezkneez in the first couple of episodes but KG is now striking me as on par with Anna Paquin talent-wise. Which is to say, wide eyes and swallowing a lot do not acting-range make. I like the idea of the character so much more than the execution.

I'm totally with you tommyrot, regarding "School Reunion." The conversation between ASH and DT by the pool is exquisite. "I used to have so much mercy. You get one warning. That was it." shiver

eta: I also love the arcum's solutions in School Reunion. Use the fire alarm to stun the bats, unplug the computers, drive the car into the school. Awesome.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, that was an awesome scene - both actors were amazing. A nice, polite conversation with such menace.

Torchwood's first season is set after the Ninth Doctor's season.

Wait, so the very next season? So why did Torchwood take the Doctor prisoner at the end of Doctor Who's second season?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Okay, possibly the second season. But basically, it doesn't matter as long as you watch the first season of Torchwood before the end of Ten and Martha. There's an answer to your question, but it's addressed in the series.

Cool - thanks.

Canary Wharf (the end of DW S2) precedes Torchwood by several months. At the end of Torchwood S2, the flashback episode establishes that Ianto had worked at Canary Wharf and had some serious issues dealing with what happened there.

Warehouse 13's very end confused me slightly tonight. I don't get how the drawing we saw at the end linked to the "echo". How is the drawing a sign of a McPherson "echo"? Was it made by Leena, indicating the McPhereson was not completely purged from her mind? Or was it made Mrs. Frederick, indicating that McPherson was now echoing in her?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm glad that Mrs Frederick is getting a more active role in the plots - the actress is terrific.
