'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From io9: The best Syfy Original Movie trailer ever is for Sharktopus

You can't go wrong with Sharktopus. Roger Corman helms a movie that is a glorious celebration of giant monsters for giant monster's sake. And the sharktopus looks awesome! I especially like how it can come on land. Land sharktopus!

Also, the trailer has a pretty rockin' song about Sharktopus....

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm NOT going to check out Sharktopus but please tell me that the motto of the whole thing is "No bones about it". Or at least that that is somewhere in the script.

PZ Myers discusses the Sharktopus trailer: Sharktopus is coming

I don't know if I can bear to watch this.

Throughout the trailer, all I could think about was the creature's gastro-intestinal arrangement. It's got a mouth at both ends. All the heroes have to do is let it keep eating, and since it can't excrete, it'll eventually explode.

Every Doctor Who villain since 1963 in one handy Datablog:

The list itself is spoilery if you haven't seen up to the end of Season 5, but the article linked is not.

The comments are a wonderful example of Fandom in Action.

Better hide your legs, girl...

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

No Eureka talk?

I'm surprised they're letting this go more than two episodes.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Did Eureka just become Oddessy 5?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm starting to think it is going to be the whole season.

I'm pissed that timeline changes don't give us Nathan back, and I miss Zoe!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think I like the way they're going. I'm easy for things like "I thought there'd be more flying cars", though.

Me too. Other than me two little complaints, I really like this new set up. I just really hope Henry doesn't get heartbroken again if they ever set things right.
