All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

One of these years I'm going to watch the entire series from the very beginning.

Now I'm watching Life of Mars. What accent does John Simm have?

I would believe this Chad Taylor guy on The Gates about not being guilty of murder if he weren't being played by the Brian Krakow actor.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've seen two things in a row where he wasn't the bad guy. But I still can't let it go.

the show is set in Manchester. so i'm guessing that. i found some of the accents on that show hard to understand at times, but i still adore it. especially Sam.

Not having seen such programs, I'm just left wondering whether or not he got the former chief of police drunk and date raped him before the murder.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Speaking of Sam Tyler, we've been watching Ashes to Ashes series 2 and just started series 3. What has been aired on BBCA?

I have to say, I couldn't get in to A2A the first season, but I picked back up with it in the second. Outright misogyny had given way to more nuanced machismo by then. (disclaimer: I only watched the first episode of series 1, but was wearied by it.)

But series 2 was awesome and series 3 is just bananas!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

US Who... Bill Nighy!

Wait, that was Bill Nighy as Vincent? I TOTALLY did not recognize him.

Compassionately intolerant

Nope. Bill Nighy was the museum docent. Big glasses and all.
