Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm not usually much for fan vids, but this might be the best thing ever: Star Trek: Tik Tok

I don't know if a Facebook fan page counts as being on a "short list", Tom. It *would* be awesome, though!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

oh that's excellent. That's right with the Nine Inch Nails one with Spock & Kirk. I love that one.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, this will undoubtedly end well. Syfy letting fans create new Saturday night movie

Exclu: Syfy is giving online fans a chance to write and design every aspect of an upcoming Saturday night creature feature.

The network is launching a production site, B Movie Mogul, where fans can vote and pitch ideas for the film -- from the title, creatures, wardrobe, dialogue and character deaths to promotional taglines.

The resulting script will be shot as a two-hour Syfy original movie that will air next year.

"We constantly have fans e-mailing with compliments, complaints and questions about our movies, and this is a way of involving the fans in a new way," said Thomas Vitale, executive vp programming and original movies for the network. "This is where entertainment is going and just the start of many more things of this nature for Syfy."

Syfy is teaming with entertainment site IGN on the site; the partnership will last 15 months and launch Friday.

The first stage will have fans voting on one of three overall concepts for the movie: a 2010 apocalypse story, a Bermuda Triangle-set creature feature or a Roswell, N.M.-set alien movie.

A scientist's attempt at creating a human/flying squirel hybrid goes horribly wrong?

I think that's our 2010 apocalypse story right there. What do we call him? Man-Squirrel?
