Is there such a thing as a good SyFy movie?
Pterodactyl was pretty awesome. I also liked Bloodsuckers. But I think that one wasn't a SciFi Channel Original Movie. Pterodactyl featured Coolio, though. Coolio!
Oz ,'Storyteller'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

leN, if you're into the Mish-Mish, it was enjoyable for the eye candy, and not horrifically traumatizing like Nathan Fillion's "Water's Edge" was ( no amount of alcohol in the world.... )
To be accurate--I did like it. But it wasn't quality. However, the cast was great, and Misha gets handcuffed, and Peter Wingfield still oozes sex (man, I'm rewatching Highlander, and I ship him with everyone and everything--he's got BBOC something awful), and Hill Harper is enjoyable slumming it.
But the plot is stupid, and the effects are execrable.
I have no idea why it would get great ratings--just the cast? Misha's Minions? Methos's Minions?
my better judgment didn't keep me from Spliced, so I better listen to it now.
It won't scar you like Spliced, I'm pretty sure. And it's better looking.
Compared to the normal Skiffy Originals, I didn't think it was that terrible. It was shaping up to be an okay B movie, but it needed a side plot and/or romance to keep things going in the middle bits. There wasn't a lot of there there.
It had a vaguely weak romance--I mean, if they'd both been men, we'd have been slashing the hell out of them.
And by we I mean me, if I hadn't been slashing him with Hill's character instead.
As per request, a link to the UK discussion of the Who that just aired in the US.
I totally agree with ita. (is that redundant?)
I liked Alice enough that I've rewatched several times.
SA,however, I ended up skipping through to get to the Wingfield parts...begging pardon from my SPN sisters and brothers, I'm not yet a Misha fan.
Which is disappointing, as I did not like Riverworld either.
I'd like Wingfield to be in something other than Highlander that I can truly enjoy. Although, there is plenty Highlander.
Wait, what was scarring about Water's Edge ?
I know I saw it, but I don't recall being scarred. Of course, maybe that's WHY I don't recall...
