Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

So they're NOT preempting next week's episode in the UK for Eurovision?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Not according to the BBC UK website: [link] (spoilers for US-scheduled watchers)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

However, the US-ian broadcast IS being put off a week. I can only assume due to the long weekend.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If you go to this io9 page, you can see a deleted scene from a DW episode that's aired in the UK but not the US: [link]

I haven't watched it, as I'm on the US Who schedule.

eta: This is their "morning spoilers" page, so spoilers for other stuff too!

I'm subscribed to Doctor Who on iTunes. Is there a way to tell if I'm getting the US or UK cuts?

Um... AFAIK the Dr. Who you get on iTunes are not cut for time. Is that what you mean, or are there other cuts?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm pretty sure iTunes is handled by the same department as Home Video, which would mean the original UK broadcast versions.

Who is on at 7pm, Eurovision doesn't start until 8.

Which is good, because otherwise that would mess with the finale date, which is also the day of Amy and Rory's wedding.

ETA: thanks, Jon!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Speaking of the Doctor, I think I'm finally in love with Eleven!

I love him and he's the Doctor alright, but I'm not in love with him like 9 and 10.

UK Who: other civilizations! Whoo-hooo! That are Eartians! (Sorry. But I really do love that idea). Also, thank God Amy explained her dress a minute after showing up. In that minute, all I could thought of was that I was so wrong when I thought they wouldn't dress her in something shorter than mini skirt, and that it's so wrong. And, excuse me. But it took everyone there, including the mother, almost 2 minutes before, while and after the earth move to realize the kid is not there. O Rly? Also, awesome kid!
