I watched The Eleventh Hour when I was at my mom's last weekend and thought both of the actors were quite charming.
And that the music was maddening.
'Sleeper'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

The BBC one or the American one?
Oh! Sorry - the Doctor Who episode.
Is the American music different from the Brit broadcast? I'm digging the updated theme.
Not sure where this should go, but I recorded the Tennant/Stewart Hamlet on PBS's Great Performances tonight, so check local listings. I'll x-post in Press, I guess.
I didn't find Hamlet but I found an upcoming film called Collision featuring Tennant and Alan Cumming so I consider that a win.

I don't think so, but don't know for sure. The theme change bugged a bit but I'd heard so many people moaning about it that I was braced for something much worse.
It's more the incidental music. Which is always way over the top, but I'd forgotten. When the music is blaring "WOW THIS IS SO WACKY/EXCITING, HAVE YOU NOTICED?" I feel like it's the aural equivalent of telling instead of showing.
Oh dear. I hadn't noticed. But now I know I will.
Eep, sorry! It could just be me. I mean, many things are.
I agree, it bugs me most when there's a dramatic moment and the music literally marks out each emotional beat of the scene (I really noticed this in "The Waters of Mars" which is one of my favorite episodes, but the music is nuts). It's like they don't trust their actors (who are usually more than capable).
At least the music itself is usually pretty good - they just tend to overuse it.
