Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, there are disappointing cuts in the BBC America airing of The Eleventh Hour. Even though I thought the food bit at the beginning went on too long, it was weird to see it cut down. And there was no "You're Scottish, fry something!" Also, we don't get to see the clothes-changing scene and Amy asserting her right to ogle.

eta: This was the Tuesday airing. Was it different on Saturday?

yes, "you're Scottish, fry something" was in the Saturday ep, which was "limited commercial interruption", so they may have done some cutting in late eps.

I hope they keep doing a limited commercial interruption airing for at least the first showing of each ep. This is weaksauce.

As I recall, the first ep is uncut (except for the english swearing and maybe some ass), but subsequent eps are usually cut.

I don't think I'm ready for Matt Smith's ass.

Anyone still watching Survivors? I haven't been paying the most attention, but the order they've been shown in has been confusing me. Not that it matters--this is 2x05 today, and it hasn't been renewed for a season 3, so just one more episode left.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Season 3, right?

I saw the whole thing a bit ago when it aired on the BBC. The show has gone (and does go) a bit off the rails.

Er, 3. Yeah, it has gotten weird and hard to follow.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I don't think I'm ready for Matt Smith's ass.

I was mildly traumatized by his nipples. Have we ever seen Dr. nips before?

We've seen the budded-off version of Ten without any clothes, so I would assume so smonster.
