Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I asked in natter, but does anyone know how they made Walter look so young?

Our wings are not tired.

I thought they did a great job, but no clue what they did.

She said she has three PhD's, so she'd be a Dr.
Awesome. I missed her saying that.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm wondering if she's the "lab assistant" who died on Walter. 3 PhDs, Walter might still consider you an assistant....

Cream of Wheat: there's a lot of women with significant agency in this series. And usually they're the wise ones.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I doubt it. He seems to have been fond of the one that died...

New Who:

OK, so Matt Smith has won me over already. In fact, he had me at "You're Scottish. Fry something". Lots of really nice moments. What a relief .

Not so sure about Amy yet. The wide-eyedness is going to get tired pretty fast. Plus, isn't Amy-and-Rory just going to be a retread of Rose-and-Mickey? I do hope not.

Little Amelia was brilliant, though. Nice little fact from the Confidential: the actress is Karen Gillan's cousin, but they'd never me before. She had great chemistry with Matt, better than Karen, I thought .

What did people here think about the Doctor-Cam? I wonder if they're going to be doing that sort of thing regularly ?

I guess I'm still digesting it. When does it air in the States?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Think I'll wait for the US to get Who before I discuss it here, so I can bounce ideas off people! Enjoyed it, though.

Waiting is hard, though. I'm sure a few people will be ahemming.
