Do you recognize the actress? she looks familiar, but I can't place her.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
FF: so the bad guy's name is Flosso? Really? Seriously?
My exact reaction was "Hey kids! It's Flosso the Clown!" and then made honk-a honk-a sounds and gestures, sort of like Harpo Marx, but without an actual horn.
I mean, *Flosso*?
Also, I have to admit, the show has re-upped my intrigue. The Hobbit has me hooked.
Not to mention Norrington. Hubba hubba. Between Jack Davenport and Courtney Vance, the show is nicely stocked with Yummy Voices. Guh.
Also, Bryce reminds me of Riley Finn.
And oh, my god, Gil Bellows! He was whatshisname, Ally McBeal's first-love-who-married-Allison-from-Melrose-Place! I'm both amused and cringing at his hair and Vincent Vaughn bloat.
More John Cho, please.
Yeah, they really ramped up the intrigue with this ep!
I loved how the FBI agent kept tracking the Hobbit down!
I did too. I love that woman.
Yes, that was excellent.
I loved how the FBI agent kept tracking the Hobbit down!
Yeah, Janis standing at the gate in Toronto saying, "Really?" gave me a grand giggle.
More, more, more Jack Davenport/Lloyd Simcoe. Love how Mark knew what he was doing by saving Lloyd.
Anyone else go to a Spike place during the Henry V reference?
Article about Matt Smith's debut as the 11th Doctor:
(Very mildly spoilery as regards plot and design.)
Anyone else go to a Spike place during the Henry V reference?
Not only did I go there, I was a little jarred when they *didn't* say "We band of buggered." For a minute, it sounded wrong to me. Because apparently all that Buffy has altered my brain.
Same with me, Steph, because I started reciting along, wrongly.
From that Doctor Who article:
Certain elements, of course, remain the same as throughout the series' entire history – he never uses weapons
That doesn't sound right to me. Maybe not conventional weapons, but certainly things that could be called weapons.
Otherwise, it makes me look forward to the new season more than anything has so far.
