A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Truth be told, it isn't clear to me that she sees herself as the police. Her charge is to protect abnormals. She lets a lot of things slide in the face of that. She also doesn't behave that great herself given her charge. Do you recall the episode last season where there was an abnormal in a warehouse? She was ready to wipe people's memories or something (I cannot recall the details right now) in order to nab and protect the abnormal.
As far as last night's ep:
I think Druitt did the best he could under the circumstances, but Magnus could have had a plan B. The energy creature would have killed them all if Druitt had stayed dead. But why not take Druitt to a place where they can contain the energy creature? There has got to be someplace on earth capable of such a thing.
Re: writing, the thing that really bothered me is why make the empaths Zulu (or speak any other language that all the crew didn't know)? It isn't like they were saying anything specific enough that Magnus and friends would have been suddenly enlightened. The empaths should have been able to communicate with the Sanctuary crew. But: Magnus can create technology that can contain all kinds of abnormals, but she can't put google translate in fucking iphones for Will and others?
Possible return of Moonlight
It's pretty much hemming and hawing, but this caught my eye...
Fancast asked CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler about the latest buzz, and whether ‘Moonlight 2.0′ could serve as a means to keep the very popular Alex O’Loughlin on the network’s payroll.
“I just want to say one thing – who was out there first with vampires?” she at first responded. “Who was out there first?”
Not you, dearie, not you. Not by a long shot.
I'd be happy to see Moonlight again - I think it could have been fun had there been more consistence with it.
I found the female leads in Moonlight unappealing, plus the whole "Mick just feels guilty" thing. If it's that easy, I'd have hoped he'd have run into more abstaining vampires in the show's brief run.

Magnitude 6.5 earthquake rattles Eureka in Northern California
My first thought was a cross between, "Carter's got his hands full" and Cferg yelling "Fargo!"
So, no one else watched the Chuck season premiere? It was pretty much what I expected - very glad to have it back.
Oh yeah. It was lots of fun and I'm happy to have another episode tomorrow night.
