Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I saw it as more matchmaking than pulling.

definitely. And also, the Doctor telling Jack to move on. It was kind of sad to see Jack in a bar drinking and not scoping out the potential.

But I got the (completely unspoiled) feeling that Alonso would be part of any next season of Torchwood.

I would love that, but he's still on Being Human, isn't he?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I would love that, but he's still on Being Human, isn't he?

We have short TV seasons. He could do both.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess the bar scene could be an unidentified amount of time in the future too. I'm not ready for Jack to get over Ianto in real time. I'm not over him.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Do we know if there's going to be a season 3 for Being Human?

I do agree, ita, but, at the same time, that cast needs some people. If Mickey and/or Martha come on, that will help, but they'd still be down one from their prior count, even if they both join up.

I'm really not ready for Jack to be involved with another Torchwood member.

Martha didn't join Torchwood because Freema was on L&O:UK. I don't know if that circumstance has changed. Also, the timeline the Doctor visited them in implied they were off on their own doing their own thing.

Their own thing could very well be what Torchwood has become since CoE.

By "their own thing" I meant just them two. I can't imagine RTD continuing Torchwood without Captain Jack.

We, I can see them holding down the fort while Jack's away. And given Gwen's condition, I wouldn't expect her to be out in the field, if she's still in Torchwood. Granted, who knows what time frame the M&M scenes are in, but they are doing some sort of "deal with the aliens" work.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'm not over him.

Me neither. I still have CoE on my DVR and Jack kissing Ianto on my home desktop.
