Upon re-watch, I am much more fondly disposed toward the finale. Sometimes the buildup to the Big Moments tends to put me off the result easily.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Did anyone else catch that it was Midshipman Frame, from "Voyage of the Damned," that the Doctor hooked Jack up with?
That's great. I only recognized him from Being Human.
Allons-y, Alonzo!
I do kind of wish they had better delineated the Master's fate. Granted, that means he can come back again (and not necessarily as John Simm (sp?)), but I thought his final act deserved a bit of a follow-through, one way or the other, especially since he turned out to be a monster BECAUSE of the Time Lords.

I recognized him, but couldn't have given you his name with a gun to my head.
Also, Mickey looked HAWT with the beard.
I thought Mickey and Martha both looked great.
I want to see a Mickey-and-Martha spinoff.
Yet another end of decade list - 10 best SF second-in-commands.
I adore the seconds-in-command as a rule. That that list does not contain Susan Ivanova makes me very sad. And I would have put Saul Tigh higher, if only because Michael Hogan was - for me - the best actor on BSG and the reason I stuck with the show till the end. I think I would do Spock at 1, Ivanova at 2, and Tigh at 3. Zoe I love a whole lot, but I can't get past the only-13-episodes thing.
I couldn't choose between Dr. Horrible and Captain Jack. I voted for George Takei on the grounds that trying to choose would make my brains boil and drain out my ears.
