'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

The Jabberwock's head was creepy.

It is better than Tin Man. Have we seen Harry Dean Stanton yet? (If so, I didn't recognize him.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Andrew-Lee Potts acquitted himself fairly, I thought. I've only seen him in Primeval and a demon series with the dorky guy from Coupling where he plays a similarly dorky character, so this was the first time I'd seen him straight. He pulled it off, I thought.

I didn't notice Harry Dean Stanton either.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Better that "Tin Man", yes. But Alice's plan was to get captured and tortured by the bad guys? Not how her plan went wrong, but her plan? Or did she not consider that a lawless drug dealing tyranny which engages in kidnapping, long term imprisonment, and vampirism might torture?

Trust my rage

So, I have spent my morning watching the last of Doctor Who available via iTunes. But since Christmas is coming, I'm assuming there's another special due? Anyone want to let me know the best place to *ahem* non-aired TV? It's been years since I *ahemmed* anything but I don't wanna wait! (E-mail is fine if that makes people more comfortable.)

Do you have BBC America Stephanie? They're airing it the day after Christmas.

Trust my rage

Oh, cool. I didn't have that when we lived in PR but I just checked and we have it here in Colorado. Thanks.

I'm so happy we can talk about Doctor Who in this thread without whitefonting.

Well, almost all of it. Water of Mars is verboten, as is technically what happens at the end of the third special. Though it's not like it hasn't already been discussed here.

God I hate that "So I go?" "So you go?" "So I go..." "So you go." conversations they make USTy couples have. I started shipping Alice and Hatter early enough on that I'd thoroughly discarded the idea before that inane conversation made it obvious.

eta: but I adored the look of consternation her mother gave her when Alice finally planted one on Hatter. That's where my TiVo stopped, on her face.
