Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yes, it is, and we're supposed to learn big things. Which, I think they say every night.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I've lost interest in FF.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I couldn't go for that Farscape deal, awesome as it was, 'cuz there's only one season I don't have in the crazy pricey sets. I'm pretty sure Season 2 is the one I don't have in the bulky boxes. I have it on (unofficial) disks that Nicole gave me, but I'd love to have all of them in the same format. If that's the season that I need, I'd be happy to pay for shipping if you were okay with boxing it up, Vonnie. (And if it's too big a PITA, I totally understand.)

As long as they have a decent amount of John Cho I will have interest in FlashForward. I love that guy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Seriously. John Cho is awesome.

Well, we did learn some things...

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm dead tired and only half-watching, and so maybe I'm misinterpreting the "sorry" scene, but it seemed like Astrid was doomed to die. Why was the lab trashed?

Was she attacked in the lab? I thought she was in some shop or warehouse looking for Walter in Chinatown when she ran into the bad dude. My laptop is ded and I'm working off an old Toshiba that doesn't stream Hulu or anything longer than the 10 minute bits that might be available on YT.

brillig

The bad guys followed Astrid back to the lab and knocked her around. And poor Walter was having a bad night of it. Noble does a hell of a job with Walter, trying to be dignified and independent and knowing he's not up to it.

And the tracker should be useful next week. Such a mad scientist solution.
