Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I am so very incredibly tempted! That is a pretty crazy deal. I will have to look at how much I've been spending and see if I can find a way to justify it.
At this rate I'm going to hold out until the week before Christmas and see if they offer to have Ben deliver the boxed set personally.
Hope springs eternal.
I suspect you might be able to get that deal, but it won't be at that price.
if that does happen, Matt, i'll be right over. you're only a few hours away.
Shit. I have seasons 1-2, but I just bought the set anyway. 'Cause hello. That's a crazy awesome deal.
Now I'll have to unload the ones I have on someone. Craiglist, I suppose! Unless there is a Buffista (or a friend of Buffista) living in Pittsburgh who'd like the first two seasons for free and is willing to come pick it up at my house. I'd rather not mail them because these suckers are individually packaged and hella bulky, yo.
Yeah, I have the new boxed set and need to get rid of my old ones. The problem is that one of the DVDs is signed, so it won't be the whole complete series. (The actual disc is signed, not just the box.)
Okay, saw P-C's post last night and IMMEDIATELY ordered the boxed set. I have two-sided disks for season 1 and part of season 2 and that price was less than purchasing just those two seasons.
I caved and got it. It was too good a deal to pass up.
Oh, wow, there's an even better deal that some of you may be interested in: Homicide: The Complete Series for $60.
