A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Sorry. I got my names mixed up. The only ones I'm sure of are Ryan and Anna. And I just learnt Ryan.
Still, whatever they want him for doesn't seem very organic to the story. I can't see what they need just one naive boy for. If they needed sperm donors they could find them by the hundreds.
Can Ryan's kid be the first? Tudyk's character said he had been in place for 20 years. Maybe her meds made a difference.
sumi, yes, I know the heart meds are from her doctor, but I'm at the point where I am distrusting most meds. If they have been here for years, fitting in, I think they could have corrupted the meds MUCH earlier.
Oh, okay - like the flu vaccine.
yeah. Ana didn't seem all that upset about the warehouse, so I'm thinking they have a plan b already in place.
So the V are the Wraith with better orthodontia and skin care?
And I'm not sure whether I trust that - I mean - did you think it was awfully convenient to have Chad in their debt re: the aneurysm?
Oh yeah, I was definitely calling shenanigans on that.
I wonder what walking around in human suits does to the Vs' sense of identity. Have they forgotten what they really look like? Who they really are?
Ana didn't seem all that upset about the warehouse
Her henchman did, or was that more about the effect the explosion and the message would have on their people?

Well, skinning seems to be a pretty horrible thing. I wonder how they get back to looking normal. In the original, couldn't they just peel off their skinsuits?
I don't watch V. Have any xenophobic right-wingers taken a shot at them yet? I can only imagine if something like this happened today that there's be privately-held munitions coming out of the woodwork.
Well, skinning seems to be a pretty horrible thing.
Yeah, I wondered whether "skinning" meant both layers or just the one. The way Dale talked about humans and how smelly they were, it didn't seem like wearing human suits was really that fun, so I assumed that they would skin down to the bone. Because just removing the human layer would almost be a gift. Except for all the pain, I assume.
I did like how they set up Ryan's (I just learned his name too!) extreme distaste of skinning and then explained it later.
Connie, my point exactly after seeing the pilot. Human beings are portrayed as much too passive.
