That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Yeah, Clocky made me giggle.

Not at the end, when it was wheeling around in her blood, but when her date gave it to her at the gallery.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why is Clocky going off all the time? It's not much better than her other alarm clock.

The songover made me laugh. I liked the gunfight just fine, but the music was hysterical. On the other hand I adored it in Face/Off.

I'm still of the opinion that all the flashforwards we've seen are true, but all the ones we've not mightn't be. Jon's scenario might work, though, since I'm not sure why she'd lie.

You know what? Mark annoys me, but I *really* don't want to see him start drinking again. For *his* sake, not mine as a viewer.

I suppose that's called good storytelling. (At least, it got *me* to buy in.)

Between that and Demetrius's demise I do want to be proven wrong. But Mrs. Benford can have an affair. Who wouldn't want to sleep with Simcoe?

I loved the look on Noh's face during the gunfight. Everyone feels they can't die if they saw something, but I think he feels extra that he can't die because he knows precisely when he's supposed to.

I just remembered about the drug dealer who said he was all pimped out in his flashforward. I wondered at the time if he sued for police brutality because Noh hit him out of hand. But that's another credibility question.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Another week, and we still haven't gotten to Somalia?

I think the time spent in Washington was dramatically fruitful, though I wish they hadn't told us Coyote was President beforehand. Would have been a nice reveal.

Plus the idea they jet off to everywhere at a drop of a hat is ludicrous.

Hey, the X-Files and Fringe did/does it all the time! And so does the Criminal Minds gang -- they even have their own jet!

Benford et alia work for the SFF FBI, for gosh sake.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Fringe deals with other dimensions though, so I can forgive them! :-)

You know, if they can figure out how to travel between dimensions, you would think that they could figure out a better way to travel within one dimension.
