Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Scalzi stole Jess's line!

then pointing and laughing will suffice. So, yes: let’s all point and laugh at these funny little terrified stupid men, and then ignore them.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Doesn't that depend on your definition of lawful vs. chaotic? Because Batman can be pretty damn rigid about some things.

Yeah, he's pretty lawful, but his methods aren't. Lawful good would make him a policeman.

Lawful good would make him a policeman.

Not in Gotham.

(Jim Gordon notwithstanding; I think we all know he's an anomaly.)

(And Renee Montoya isn't on the force anymore.)

I guess I meant that they're trying to make us buy that there was a Plan in the first place.

I think saying "They have a plan" at the start of every episode accomplished that. And, well, there obviously was a plan. And it was a pretty good plan, given the billions of people they wiped out. But it wasn't perfect.

I definitely prefer that to claiming that from the start they intended to leave 50,000 people alive.

The cooties post you quote is from a site where deeply disturbed people gather. A random quote: (I refuse to link):

"Any strategy that does not take into account the Illuminati programming women will not work. "

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's ambiguous. Are they women programmed by the Illuminati, or Illuminati-programming women? Are we to believe the Illuminati are all women? Or that all women are Illuminati? ... Mulder?

From context: women are too simple minded to develop plans on their own and are programmed by Illuminati to bash men. (They are programmed by repetition, because women are much more vulnerable to repetition than men.)
