Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I did kind of think his response about how the internet is helping spread the truth about women's secret agenda was pretty funny.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sweet, I was wondering if we had a secret agenda.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I've always wanted a secret agenda!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just think--if it weren't for the internet we mightn't even know we had a secret agenda.

The internet has allowed men to talk directly to each other, bypassing women, communicating the truth about women.

So, see, women hate the internet and want to destroy it, because without it, men couldn't talk to each other and spread the truth about women. And their secret agenda.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh. That's kind of a disappointing secret agenda. I kinda like the internet.

Oh, wait, is that wrong, because the internet is scifi and I'm just a girl? I don't want to mess it up with my icky girlness.

Ugh, using a perfectly good scifi tool like the internet for relationshippy talking and communicating. How girly.

I personally love the idea that men were not able to talk to each other directly until the internet made it possible. Stupid women, always being in the way!
