'Bring On The Night'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

As far as I know, it's only for the pilot.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

FF: Saw it. Liked it. And yeah, when footage of a guy walking around is creepy, you know they sold the premise. (Might have been a woman. Had long hair. I think.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The person struck me as being a man with a hood. But I cannot believe there aren't more "people" out there who knew what was coming and immune to this occurrence.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

They did a really nice job of obscuring gender on the person at the ballpark.

There may have been more people, just not in places with cameras.

Also, dude, if you want to change the future, put the bracelet on the other wrist. IJS. Because what he could remember of the Mosaic board was pretty clearly exactly what was written on those yellow notes on his memory of the board, too, which points to a closed-loop, predestined situation.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It may just come down to Sam and Dean's attempts to change the future. Sure, dean orders a tofu burger, but they bring him the cheeseburger he'd have gotten instead. Letters fall off signs to make new words...

Pretty thin stretch for even just one season.

But I'm rooting for that cast. And I have to go see where I recognise the babysitter from. Aha. Daybreak.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

But that doesn't mean you don't try, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you have a bad future, you give up, or you try and make it better. If you have a good future, can acting on that information ahead of time shoot you in the foot in a way that means you don't get the good future after all?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm also on board for FF for the time being. I also hate those commercials telling you what might be important--I think I'll remember seeing a random kangaroo hopping down the street, thank you marketing monkeys who are trying to be oh so cool with your online viral promoting schemes.
