Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Zenkitty, the pilot is on tomorrow night, too.

x-post!
Although, I have a nasty feeling that it's the sort of story setup that could lend itself to becoming drawn out and convoluted.
The first thing I thought (which was already covered by the characters) was, if you've seen your future, you can change it. (Or CAN you?)
if you've seen your future, you can change it. (Or CAN you?)
I think that's going to be one of the main themes of the show. I love that there's a mix of people who want the futures they saw, and others who desperately do not want it (and some who will at least know whether or not they're regular six months into the future).
Rebroadcast yay! Thanks!
I'm glad; I was really looking forward to it, and even more so now that everyone* likes it.
I would not want to know all about my future. However, I'd take a glimpse of six months from now. Would you want to see just a glimpse of your future? Especially if you didn't know if you could change it or not?
*where everyone = you all
I like it, but I hope it goes more Lost than Heroes.
After viewing FlashForward, I am all about OMG JOHN CHO. For obvious reasons, this could prove problematic.
I also liked FlashForward, though wow, they have a whole lot of English and Irish actors there. At least Jack Davenport gets to play English.
I would like to point out that after a catastrophe of that magnitude, no way they'd have consistent power and cell phone signals. That kept pulling me out a little.

Word. He got me more than anyone else, and in a cast with Jack Davenport (even though he had little to do beyond the obvious reveal) and Joseph Fiennes that's good work.

I'm irrationally bothered by the Oceanic Airlines poster they showed. You can't have that and Dominic Monaghan and whatstername too. It's like when CSI and L&O recycle their actors. It's just wrong.
I missed Fringe tonight, didn't I? I've hit the Thursday pileup.
Fringe
was a little meh in comparison to last week's, although there's an interesting new development for Olivia.
And I am also very pro-Cho. Even though I was spoiled for his plight, he got me.

Ditto. So it's not just me!

Did I miss something about why the guy would create a kid like that? Sure, it helped him live, but there really can't be an upside to such a thing.
I am assuming, though, that Walter's allusions to the repercussions of inter-dimensional travel mean that that's what made him ... the way he is.

He had clearly never seen an episode of
The X-Files
before.

Oooh. I didn't think about that!
