Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

t Insert obligatory post about how odd it is to go past 10,000 in threads.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

I am really looking forward to seeing my Fringe friends again.

Us too. Christ knows when they'll start screening season 2 in Australia, though. This is why I'll be ahemming the show, along with Supernatural, and Burn Notice.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Warehouse 13: At least Michael Hogan's character wasn't unconscious for most of the episode, as I feared as they started out. What a waste of a perfectly good actor!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What a waste of a perfectly good actor!

Par for the course for just about all their guest actors. I think Joe Flanigan even complained about it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Fringe: Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.

Our wings are not tired.

Fringe! I think I have to watch twice.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, just watched Fringe for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Very X-Files, but a lot more snarky. Was this typical? Obviously, I'm behind on the show (and missing the total significance of what happened with Kirk A's character - I'm guessing this will be like what happened with Sydney's BFF on Alias).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

CHARLIE DOESN'T LIKE COFFEE ICE CREAM.

Very X-Files, but a lot more snarky. Was this typical?

The episode itself was a bit atypical in its structure, obviously, but it's definitely got an XF vibe (notice that the first victim was watching XF?) with some snark, yes.

I assume Jessup is going to be a recurring character. I wonder who gave her the password to get into the Fringe Division files. And what she was doing with those Bible quotes. I was expecting the book to be revealed as the ZFT. (Also, how was she butchering Shakespeare? By not including "Horatio"?)

My mind is not blown wrt to Charlie, like they said. My ass is chapped.

Very X-Files, but a lot more snarky.

I wouldn't say it was snarkier, because XF could get pretty snarky, and outside of Walter this isn't the funniest show (well, other than the XF clip, which had me howling). However, Walter is a hoot and a half--it's very concentrated.

Yeah, Charlie is her devoted but not USTy partner, so making him eevol is grr.

I missed Joshua Jackson. God bless Pacey and god bless Peter Bishop. And I missed wacky druggy Walter and patient AsterixAstrid and even mostly stoic Olivia. Let me not speak of missing Charlie, because this will continue.

Plot free promo pic for S2 of Being Human. They look all cute. I could yank on Tovey's ears before I nibble him all up.
