If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I thought all businesses had websites these days. I'm being foiled by one that doesn't seem to.

That drives me insane.

I also need to see if I have any clothes that are warm, funereal and still fit. This has not been the best week ever.

Ouch, doesn't sound like it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I should do taxes soon. I have no idea whose benefit it will end in. To. Whatever.

I bought an Apple TV a couple weeks ago, and have just gotten the latest software update and am playing around a bit.

It's a bit all over the place, but it's also a bloody fucking miracle.

I can surf by channel and buy TV shows and watch them right there. I can watch TV shows I've acquired via iTunes on either of my home computers, or video I've acquired otherwise and properly prepped. I also have music, youtube, and flickr.

Oh, and movie trailers. I'm currently surfing to see if there are any new ones up.

I'm not sure what the apple TV is for, but it is nifty.

Other than that, I'm curled up with y'all and will probably pass out over a book in a second.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This has not been the best week ever.

Ugh, aurelia. Hope things are better next week.

I went to my cousin's shower, which was quite nice, but I really don't understand this phenomenon of baby showers being women-only. He's having the baby, too! OK, he's not having it, but he will have it.

A bit ago I was wishing that I could just sleep between everything I had to do. Sleep, work, sleep, krav, sleep, work, sleep, work. I can totally do that now.

It's not actually that cool. Lends itself to sleeping through things, like this morning's acupuncture. But massage went very well indeed...I've been suckered into weekly massage by a friend and former krav student who wants to cure my headaches. So I get 90 odd minutes off massage for a crazy cheap rate, and she's even started talking to my acupuncturist so they can work in tandem. So that helped right the day.

Now Apple TV is showing me a screensaver of Flickr pictures of my family tree.

World domination, probably, but it sounds fabulous.

So, I still hate my new cable box. I just got, for the second time in a couple of weeks, a message on the TV screen saying, "Cable card failure, please remove and reinsert cable card to continue." So I did, which involves taking out a couple of screws, and was considering calling the cable company to check on it, when I figured I'd google first, and found this: [link] Seriously, Time Warner? You fucking suck.

The TWC guy who installed my cable card shorted two out the first time he tried it out. These are supposed to be end-user manageable. What's going to happen when they're inserted directly into TVs?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Hate Time Warner.

I just took a carload of stuff to Goodwill. Noah was especially distraught, apparently, by giving stuff away and caterwauled the whole time. I almost handed him over too.

Can I just go back to bed now and start over again later?

Yes. Tell Noah I said so, too.
